Terms of Use

Funky Design Tools is run by Rron Imami, based in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can reach us at hello@funkydesigntools.com.

These terms are an agreement between you and us. By using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these terms.

Funky Design Tools is a set of browser-based utilities for designers. The tools run entirely in your browser: your files are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to us. We do not see, receive or store the images or files you work with.

Every tool is free to use, with no account, no sign-in and no usage limits set by us. We may add, change, improve or remove tools over time.

If a tool saves you time you can leave a tip through Ko-fi. Tipping is entirely optional and unlocks nothing: the tools are the same for everyone. Any tip is a payment to Ko-fi under Ko-fi's own terms, made on Ko-fi's website, and we never see your payment details.

When you use the site, you agree not to:

• ✺use the tools to create, process or distribute anything unlawful, infringing or harmful
• ✺attempt to attack, disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems
• ✺use automated means to overload the site or its comment form
• ✺present the site, or copies of it, as your own product.

You keep all rights to the files you process and the outputs you create. Because everything runs in your browser, we never receive your files and we claim no rights over them or over what you make with the tools. You are responsible for holding the rights to the content you use.

Some pages let you leave a comment. Only the comment itself is required; a name and an email address are optional, and the email is never published. Every comment is read by a person before it appears, and we decide what is published. We may edit a comment for length or decline to publish it without giving a reason, and we may remove a published comment at any time.

By submitting a comment you give us permission to publish it on the site, with the name you gave or as “Anonymous”, for as long as the page exists. You must not post anything unlawful, defamatory, infringing, private about another person, or promotional. If you want a comment you left taken down, email us and we will remove it.

The website, the Funky Design Tools name and branding, the tool interfaces and the underlying code belong to us or our licensors. You have a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the site. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the site to you.

The site is hosted by Vercel, which also provides our privacy-friendly page analytics, and tips are handled by Ko-fi. Using the site involves their systems, and their own terms apply to those parts. We are not responsible for third-party services that are outside our reasonable control.

We work to keep the site running, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, or that any particular tool will exist forever. The site is provided free of charge on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that, because the service is free, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill arising from your use of it. Your files are processed on your own device, so we are not responsible for those files or for the outputs you produce. Check anything important before you rely on it.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version. If you keep using the site after a change takes effect, that means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in the country where you live.
