- What metadata does a photo contain?
- Often the camera model, the date and time, editing software and, on phone photos, the GPS location. The Metadata Stripper shows exactly what each photo reveals before you remove it.
- Does stripping metadata reduce image quality?
- No. The strip is lossless: metadata segments are removed byte by byte and the pixel data is left untouched.
- How do I know the metadata is really gone?
- Every file is re-read after the strip and checked again, so a clean result is proven rather than assumed. JPEG and PNG are supported.
- Are my photos uploaded to be cleaned?
