Is optimising an SVG safe?
With the default preset, yes. The viewBox and every id are preserved, so CSS styling, use references and animations keep working and the drawing renders exactly as before.
How much smaller will my SVGs get?
It depends on the source. Exported files from design tools often shrink by half or more. Each file shows its before and after size, with a running total for the batch.
What can I adjust?
Two honest toggles: number precision and comment removal. Both default to lossless-safe values.
Are the SVGs uploaded?
No. Everything runs inside your browser tab on your own machine. Nothing is uploaded and there is no server to send it to, so nothing is stored anywhere but your device.
